About the Rocky Mountain Challenge
"The Granddaddy of them all!"
The Rocky Mountain Challenge is America's Premier Rugby Tournament. Founded in 2000, the Rocky Mountain Challenge was the first high school all-star tournament of its kind in the United States, and has expanded exponentially to include competition levels for both sexes across many different age groups. The event has featured numerous future USA Rugby National Team players, as well as scores of College All-Americans, and National U20, U19, and U18 players.
The event was postponed in 2020 and again in 2021 due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, but intends to return stronger than ever in 2022! Our next event will feature the addition of Men's & Women's U23 and U20 brackets, and we look forward to building even stronger competition for the national age-grade system.
National Level Coaches and Selectors are in regular attendance at the Rocky Mountain Challenge to evaluate the players and liaise with coaches. The players identified by the coaches and selectors will be invited to advanced camps.
